Bosso face relegation-haunted Tsholotsho at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.
Highlanders are undefeated in their last six matches, which include a win against Castle Lager Premier League title-chasing FC Platinum in the Easycall Cup quarter-finals at Mandava Stadium last Sunday.
Their run in the league has seen them rise to position six on the league log-table after beating Hwange 4-2 in a match at the Colliery on Wednesday.
“There is mental strength in the team, the team can achieve a lot now,” Zulu said. “We have gone for six games without defeat and that tells a story. We are chasing a couple of things; if we lose this game [to Tsholotsho] we might find ourselves back on position 11. If we win, depending on what happens to Caps and Triangle, we might end up in the top four.”
After beating Hwange, Bosso rose to sixth with 38 points after Harare City were held 1-1 by relegated WhaWha at Rufaro, with Chapungu also on 38 points after playing a goalless draw against Triangle at Ascot Stadium also on Wednesday.
Hwange are on 38 points and Bosso lead City, the coalminers and Chapungu by goal difference.
Highlanders are banking on Caps United, with 42 points, losing to FC Platinum and WhaWha in their last two matches. Triangle has Buffaloes and Hwange in their remaining fixtures.
Leading PSL scorer, Knox Mutizwa increased his tally to 14 goals on Wednesday, when he scored a brace, with the other two goals coming from Ralph Matema, his first goals since rejoining the Bulawayo giants in September from South Africa.
